Vanwege de coronamaatregelen zijn alle kapperszaken momenteel verplicht gesloten. Op internet circuleren veel hilarische filmpjes van mensen die zelf aan de slag gaan, en waarbij de kapsels grandioos mislukken. Wat als je inmiddels echt een knipbeurt nodig hebt? Wij vroegen het aan Bredase kappers.

Groeien jouw lokken langer dan je zou willen en heb je de neiging een schaar uit je keukenla te pakken en het even te fixen? Doe het niet, zegt Indyra, eigenaresse van kapsalon Hairdealer. “Haar knippen lijkt misschien makkelijk, maar niets is minder waar. Daarom zijn wij altijd druk in de weer met trainingen en cursussen. Je haar groeit een centimeter per maand, dus neem die extra centimeters voor lief en laat ons het weer opknappen zodra we open mogen.”

Last van uitgroei? Koop dan een verfpakket bij een kapper bij jou in de buurt. Zo verkoopt kapsalon SUDS in de St. Annastraat op maat gemaakte verfpakketten. Eva van SUDS legt uit: “Alles zit erbij, van kwasten tot aan bescherming en uitleg. Mocht je het toch een beetje spannend vinden, dan kunnen mensen voorbeeldfilmpjes op onze Instagrampagina vinden. Wij werken als enige in Breda met O&M, een 100% natuurlijke haarverf.”

“Misschien zie je juist in deze tijd dat een ander kapsel je ook tof staat. Of probeer in de tussentijd je haar eens anders op te steken of bijvoorbeeld te krullen”, zegt Indyra van Hairdealer. Ideaal als je toe bent aan een nieuwe coupe, maar niet zeker weet of deze je wel staat! Good luck!

“Dit is dé kans om je haar goed te verzorgen”, zegt Eva van SUDS. “Stel het wassen een keer uit en gebruik vaker een haarmasker.” Werk je thuis? Dan kan je haar nu eindelijk even rusten. Föhn het een keer niet na het douchen of gebruik nu je thuiswerkt geen stijltang. “Als mensen toch willen föhnen of stijlen is het belangrijk om een heat protector te gebruiken.”

Draag een pet

Ook het personeel van Kinki Kappers komt met een aantal goede tips. Zo vertellen sommigen dat een toffe hoed of pet nu wel heel goed van pas komt. In de video zie je dat er genoeg dingen zijn die je thuis kunt doen om je haar te verzorgen én te stylen (zonder het te knippen of te kleuren).
